Monday- July 11,2011. Getting things lined up to go to Michigan. On Saturday we cleaned out the cars. They never looked so good like they do now. Today I went to Sam’s club and dropped off my perscription pills at Sam’s club. On Sunday afternoon, I did two loads of towels. Got them done. I wanted to put my white clothes in, but that machine decided it didn’t want to do anything. Not sure what is wrong with it, but I don’t have time to deal with that right now. So I headed to a rather new laundromat here in Dale City. I had two more loads to do and so I washed them and dried them. Now all I have to do is fold them and put them away.
Monday afternoon, we took a trip down to Spotsylvania and picked up some stuff from Tina and Todd’s house. That they wanted us to take along with us. Larry and I decided to fill the ice chest up with stuff. Like pots and pans and other things too. Then we put them on top of the truck. We are now thinking about putting the cots up there and a table as well. There is plenty of room and it will be ok..
I am now thinking about getting my stuff packed tomorrow. thinking about what I will need to take along and what I need to leave at home. Decisions decisions decisions!!!!!!!!!
Tuesday, July 12, 2011 Today I worked on packing. It was a very hot day outside. I finally got the clothes all folded and put away. Then worked on packing our clothes. Got a suit case and had to make decisions on what to bring and not to bring. And Larry did the same thing.
We got the tent out, the chairs we are taking along, and our cots we will be sleeping in, bathing suits together, towels, and other basic stuff to take with us. After we got all that stuff together we went to Manassas, Va. Larry wanted to get a new pair of sandles. The sandles he bought broke. So we went to the walmart up there to see if they had any left. They didn’t so we went to another walmart up there, and low and behold they had a pair of sandles for Larry. So we bought them took them home. But when we got home Larry discovered that the sandle was broken, so he went to the other walmart here in Woodbridge, and got a gift card, because they were out of them.
The other reason we went to Manassas is because Larry got a key to a Jeep from a car dealer. If it fit we would win a Jeep. Well sorry to say the key didn’t work. So no new Jeep for us!!!!
July 13, 2011 All packed and ready to go. We are all loaded up the car is ready!!!!
